  20. If it ends up as a PPCP machine, it'll run PPC Mac OS, NT, AIX, PPC AOS and
  21. probably a host of other operating systems. If i understand the workings of
  22. multiple OS'es on such a machine correctly, one can only make 'personality
  23. changes' at boot time. (Probably has to do with changing the Endian flag)

  37. Nope, but very clean sw will run on an emulator, with a /someOS/ API routing
  38. calls to the host. That was the idea with multiple personalities anyway. Look
  39. to Sun's WABI for an example of this. (A MSDos x86 emulator featuring a Win
  40. API)

  45. Nope again, unless someone writes an amigapersonality for NT it's an either or.
  46. Also NT wont be happy about anything touching the hardware directly.

  51. If we are talking about a 68K based Mac (or whatever) it will not eun NT. Long
  52. time ago M$ stated that NT would not be ported to Big endian machines. They'll
  53. probably change their mind, if there's enough money in it.

  55. If we put a PPC-shapeshifter in the box, it would have to emulate all standard
  56. hardware of a PPCP to get NT to run or rather crawl. One will probably be
  57. better
  58. off with a bootselection.
